Why does my Ford Galaxy AC blow hot air only on the driver's side?

I recently purchased a used Ford Galaxy and noticed that the AC only blows hot air on the driver's side while the passenger's side has cool air. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

This could be due to a faulty AC blend door actuator on the driver's side. I recommend having it checked and replaced if necessary by a certified technician.

It may also be caused by a refrigerant leak in the AC system. Have a mechanic do a refrigerant recharge and leak detection to fix this issue.
