Why Does My Ford Galaxy Overheat?

I have a 2007 Ford Galaxy and it keeps overheating. I've checked the coolant levels and they seem fine. What could be causing this issue?

Hi Samantha, this could be caused by a few different things. One possibility could be a faulty thermostat. When the thermostat fails, it can cause the engine to overheat. Another possibility is a clogged radiator. Over time, debris and sediment can build up in the radiator, causing it to not function properly. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

Hi Samantha, have you checked the water pump? A malfunctioning water pump can lead to overheating. It's also important to make sure the radiator fans are working properly. If they aren't, they won't be able to cool the engine properly. Hope this helps!
