Why does my Ford Kuga's check engine light keep turning on?

I have a 2018 Ford Kuga and the check engine light keeps turning on. I have taken it to the mechanic multiple times, but they can't seem to fix the issue. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It's possible that there could be a problem with your car's oxygen sensor. This is a common issue with Ford Kugas and can cause the check engine light to turn on. I would recommend bringing your car to a different mechanic for a second opinion.

Another possible cause could be a loose gas cap. Make sure the gas cap on your Ford Kuga is tightened properly, as it can cause the check engine light to come on. If the issue persists, it's best to have a professional look at it.

It could also be a problem with the catalytic converter. This is responsible for converting harmful gases into less harmful ones, and if it's malfunctioning, it can trigger the check engine light. I would suggest getting your catalytic converter checked by a mechanic.
