I recently noticed that my Ford Focus is making a ticking sound while idling. What could be the cause of this and should I be concerned? Any advice is appreciated.
ReplyThe ticking sound could be coming from a faulty lifter or valve train. It's important to have it checked by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent further damage.
Make sure to check the oil level and quality first. Low oil or dirty oil can also cause ticking sounds. If the oil is fine, it could be an issue with the fuel injectors.
