Why is my Ford Focus overheating after I changed the radiator?

I recently installed a new radiator in my Ford Focus, but now it seems to be overheating much more quickly than before. I double-checked all connections and they seem to be secure. What could be causing this issue?

From my experience, it could be an issue with the thermostat. If it's not opening properly, it could be causing the engine to overheat. You may want to have that checked out.

Make sure you have enough coolant in the system. I made the same mistake once and it caused my car to overheat. Also, check for any leaks or if the coolant is leaking out of your radiator.

It's possible that there was a faulty part in the new radiator. I would recommend taking it back to the shop and have them check it out.
