Why is my Ford Galaxy experiencing engine overheating?

I recently purchased a Ford Galaxy and have noticed that the engine temperature is constantly on the rise, even on short drives. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

One possible reason for engine overheating could be a faulty thermostat. The thermostat regulates the engine temperature and if it is not functioning properly, the engine can overheat. I suggest getting it checked and replaced if necessary.

Another common cause of engine overheating is a low coolant level. Check the coolant reservoir and top it up if needed. If the coolant level keeps decreasing, there may be a leak in the system that needs to be fixed.
