Why is my Ford Transit Custom overheating after a long drive?

I recently drove my Ford Transit Custom for about 2 hours on the highway and noticed that the temperature gauge was rising to a dangerous level. I pulled over and let the engine cool down, but it happened again on my way back. What could be causing this issue and how can I prevent it?

It's possible that your radiator or cooling system may be malfunctioning. It's important to have it checked by a mechanic as soon as possible, as overheating can cause serious damage to your engine.

Make sure to check your coolant levels regularly and top up if necessary. Low coolant levels can result in overheating, especially during long drives.
