Is the Ford Fiesta a reliable car to purchase?

I have been hearing mixed reviews about the reliability of the Ford Fiesta. Can someone in the community with technical knowledge about Ford cars shed some light on this issue?

I've had nothing but problems with my Ford Fiesta. The engine keeps stalling and I've had to take it to the mechanic multiple times. I would not recommend this car.
