I've noticed that whenever I turn my steering wheel to the left or right, there's a noticeable clicking sound coming from the front of my Ford Mondeo. It's starting to become quite loud and I'm worried it may be a sign of a bigger problem. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how I can fix it?
ReplyHi Emily, the most common cause of steering wheel clicking noises in Ford Mondeos is worn out CV joints. It's important to get this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible as it can lead to further damage if left untreated. They will be able to replace the affected joints and get rid of that annoying clicking sound. Good luck!
I had the same issue with my Ford Mondeo and it turned out to be a loose steering column. I would highly recommend getting this looked at by a professional as it can become a safety hazard if not fixed. I hope this helps!
