What is the most fuel-efficient engine for the Ford Transit Custom?

I'm thinking about buying a Ford Transit Custom but I'm having trouble deciding on the best engine option in terms of fuel efficiency. I'd like to minimize my fuel costs while still having enough power for my needs. Any recommendations from fellow Ford owners?

I have the 2.2L Duratorq TDCi engine and it's been great for me. It's not as fuel-efficient as the EcoBlue, but it has more power and torque, which is important if you're carrying heavy loads. I've had no issues with it and I'm happy with my choice.
