Which engine is best for off-roading in the Ford Ranger?

I'm planning on taking my Ford Ranger on some tough off-road adventures. Which engine option would be the best choice for off-roading? I want something that can handle steep inclines and rough terrain with ease.

I would recommend going with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine. It has plenty of torque and power for off-roading and it's also fuel efficient.

I personally have the 2.7L V6 engine in my Ford Ranger and it hasn't disappointed me on any off-road excursion. I would definitely recommend it.

If you want the ultimate off-roading experience, go for the 4.0L V6 engine. It's a bit pricier, but worth every penny in my opinion.
