Why is my Ford Fiesta making a strange clicking noise?

I recently purchased a used Ford Fiesta and noticed a strange clicking noise coming from the front of the car. It only happens when I accelerate and gets louder the faster I go. What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

It's likely that your CV joint is worn out and needs to be replaced. This is a common issue in older Ford Fiestas and can create a clicking noise when accelerating. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic to get it checked out.

It could be an issue with the transmission or a loose belt. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection to determine the root cause of the clicking noise.

I had the same issue with my Ford Fiesta and it turned out to be a loose heat shield. I would suggest checking the heat shield near the exhaust for any signs of looseness.
