Why is my Ford Focus making a rattling noise while driving at high speeds?

I have noticed a weird rattling noise coming from my Ford Focus every time I drive on the highway at speeds over 70mph. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. Is this a common issue with Ford Focus cars? Should I be concerned and get it checked out by a mechanic?

Hi Sarah, the rattling noise could be caused by a loose exhaust heat shield, which is a common issue in Ford Focus cars. It is best to get it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent any further damage.

I had the same issue with my Ford Focus and it turned out to be a loose strut mount. Get it fixed before it causes more problems or becomes a safety hazard.
