What is the best engine specification for a Ford Mondeo?

I am considering buying a Ford Mondeo and I want to know which engine specification is the most reliable and efficient for daily use. I have heard mixed opinions and I am not sure which one to choose. Can anyone help me make a decision?

I have a 2.0L Ecoboost engine in my Ford Mondeo and it has been great so far. It provides a good balance between power and fuel efficiency. I would definitely recommend it.

I have the 2.0L TDCi diesel engine in my Mondeo and it has been a reliable workhorse. It has good fuel economy and plenty of torque for daily driving.
