I recently purchased a Ford Puma and have noticed that the engine occasionally makes a ticking noise. It seems to occur randomly, both when the car is idle and when I am accelerating. I am wondering if this is a cause for concern and if I should take it to a mechanic to get it checked out?
ReplyIt is not uncommon for a new car to have some odd noises during the break-in period. However, if the ticking noise persists, it could be a sign of an issue with the engine. It would be best to take your car to a mechanic for a thorough inspection to ensure everything is running smoothly.
I had a similar issue with my Ford Puma and it turned out to be a problem with the camshaft bearings. I would suggest taking your car to a certified Ford mechanic to have it checked out as soon as possible.
