Why is my Ford S-Max stalling at stop lights?

I recently bought a used Ford S-Max and I've noticed that it sometimes stalls at stop lights. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Hi Samantha, this could be caused by a few different things. First, check your air filter and replace it if it's dirty. A dirty air filter can cause stalling at stop lights. If that's not the issue, it could be a problem with your fuel pump or spark plugs. I recommend taking it to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Hey Samantha, one possible cause could be a clogged fuel filter. Have you noticed any other issues with your vehicle's performance? If so, it's worth checking and potentially replacing the fuel filter. If not, it's still worth checking as it's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix.
