Why does my Ford Mondeo shake when braking?

I have a Ford Mondeo and recently notice that whenever I brake, the car starts to shake. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your brake rotors may be warped. This could be caused by heavy braking or driving in stop-and-go traffic frequently. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have the brake rotors inspected and possibly replaced.

Another possible cause for shaking while braking could be worn out brake pads. If your pads are too thin, they can't effectively grip the rotors and can cause shaking. I would suggest having the brake pads replaced if they are worn out.

You may also want to check your wheel bearings as they can become loose or damaged over time. This can cause shaking while braking as the wheels are not properly aligned. Have a mechanic inspect the wheel bearings and replace them if necessary.
